English: The former Paramount Theatre, Pilgrim Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It opened in 1931 as both a cinema and a live music theatre. Live music was discontinued in 1936 and Paramount sold all its British venues to Odeon in 1939. It was made a Grade II listed building in 1999 but has since been de-listed. It has been closed since 2002.
