English: The Owens River — in the Eastern Sierra region and Owens Valley, in Eastern California.

The river channel is in Mono County and Inyo County. Surface and underground flow has been increasingly reduced by the Los Angeles Aqueduct water diversions, since 1924.
A tributary of an endorheic basin, with watersheds primarily within the Inyo National Forest, with its flow formerly ending in Owens Lake, a present−day dry lake.
