English: Operation JACKSTAY was an amphibious operation in South Vietnam, launched from the amphibious assault ship USS Princeton (LPH-5), that utilized surface borne and helicopter borne assault forces. It was a "search-and-destroy" mission that started on 26 March 1966. The scheme of maneuver dictated two phases over a period of about ten days.
