English: The third generation Oldsmobile 88 was built in 1957 and 1958 and was originally available as the base 88 (called "Golden Rocket 88" in some period marketing) and as the more powerful Super 88. A station wagon was reintroduced, known as the "Fiesta". For 1958 the lower priced line became the long running Dynamic 88.
