English: The seventh generation Oldsmobile 88 was built from 1971 until 1976. The lineup continued as before, with the Delta 88 as the base version, the mid-range Delta 88 Custom, and with the Delta 88 Royale on top. The Custom Cruiser was new, Oldsmobile's first full-size station wagon since the 88 Fiesta was retired after 1964. The Delta 88 Custom was dropped for 1972, leaving only the Delta 88 and the Royale. 1975 was the last year that the 88 convertible was built.
