A large printing press in North Watford originally built in the 1930s to designs by Sir Owen Williams. The press hall was built as an extension, designed by the London-based architectural practice of Yates, Cook and Darbyshire. At its peak in the mid-twentieth century, the printing works was one of the largest of its type in the world. It was inspired by the design of Stockholm City Hall
