English: The Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church at 228 East Main Street in North Adams, Massachusetts was built between 1872 and 1886, designed by an architect named Murphy from Providence, Rhode Island. The French-Canadian congregation had split off from the native Catholic parish in 1871. Around 2009 it was merged by the Diocese of Springfield with Our Lady of Mercy, St, Anthony of Padua and St. Francis of Assisi parishes to form St. Elizabeth of Hungary parish. (Source: [1])
