English: Nithan Wetan (Thai: นิทานเวตาล; "Tales of Vetāla") is a Thai version of the Sanskrit story Vetālapañcaviṃśati ("Twenty-five tales of Vetāla"), with Sir Richard Francis Burton's Vikram and the Vampire as its main basis. The work was authored by Prince Phitthayalongkon of Siam (now Thailand). The work was probably printed for the first time in 1918, as the author's preface for the first edition included in the 1939 edition was dated 15 September 1918.
