English: Over over 1,465,000 daffodils (narcissus) have been planted throughout Newport[1]. They have been planted in storefront windows, as well as various fields and other locations around Newport as a beautification project and tourist attraction. Various events are planned each April as part of a citywide "Daffodil Days" celebration.[2]
