The New York Public Library Yorkville Branch at 222 East 79th Street between Second and Third Avenues in the Yorkville neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1902 and was designed by James Brown Lord in the Palladian style. It was the first Carnegie Library built in the city. The interior of the building was redesigned in 1987 by Gwathmey Siegel & Assocs.
