English: The Riverside Branch of the New York Public Library at 127 Amsterdam Avenue at West 65th Street. The library was founded in 1897, when the Riverside Association gave its collection to the New York Free Library. It became a branch of the New York Public Library in 1901, and moved into a Carnegie library building at 190 Amsterdam Avenue at West 69th Street in 1904, where it remained until 1992, when it moved to its current location. The old library building is now the West End Synagogue. (Source: (Library website)
