Mutsu Province (陸奥国 Mutsu no kuni), also called Rikuō Province (陸奥国 Rikuō no kuni) was an old province of Japan in the area of Iwate Prefecture and Aomori Prefecture on the island of Honshū. The history of this province started in 1868 and ended in 1872.
