English: Montgomeryshire was a iron hull, full-rigged ship, Tonage: 1452 GRT, 886 NRT. Built 1877 in Liverpool. Her dimensions were: Length, 235' 9", beam, 38' 1" and depth, 23'. Originallv sailed under the British flag. She was owned in the end by a Norwegian company. The Norwegian ship have arrived here by the Navua, and report that the vessel, when bound from South America to Sydney in ballast, was wrecked at Tonga on 1907 February 12. The crew safe.[1]
