Català: Meifod és un poblet del comtat gal·lès de Powys. Està situat a uns onze quilòmetres al nord-est de Trallwng, en la carretera A495, en la vall del riu Efyrnwy. Aquest darrer s'ajunta amb el riu Banwy a uns tres quilòmetres a l'oest del poble.

English: Meifod is a community (civil parish) and small village 7 miles north-west of Welshpool in Powys, mid Wales, on the A495 road and located in the valley of the River Vyrnwy. The River Banwy has a confluence with the Vyrnwy approximately two miles to the west of the village.
