Maurice Frankenhuis (1894-1969) was a Dutch collector and dealer in an auction house. He also lived in England and after WWII in the USA. During the WWII he lost his entire collection when it was confiscated by the Germans. He was arrested and imprisoned in Schevingen, Westerbork and Theresienstadt concentration camps where he and his family were liberated in 1945.
