- Quotation of plaque
This Manweb substation was refurbished during 1998
as part of Manweb's commitment to the community.
The transformation into a work of art, day and night,
was switched on by Gerry Marsden on 1 December 1998.
The project was sponsored by Manweb
with contributions from the Cavern Quarter Initiative
and Mersey Partnership.
