The Mansion House, Doncaster, is the official residence of the civic mayor of Doncaster. George Thomas Tuby, mayor of Doncaster 1921-1922, was the last mayor to actually live in the mansion house. Today the Mansion House is a working building, containing the mayor's place of business, and his/her reception rooms for visiting dignitaries, etc. The building contains historical artefacts associated with past mayoral duties, to be viewed by visitors by appointment only.
