English: Mann Egerton & Co. Ltd. was a British engineering, airplane building, coachbuilding, electric and mechanical engineering enterprise.
Mainly known for their bespoke bodywork for upper class automobiles, the company started as a car dealer and elecric engineering company. Military work in World War I included manufacturing Short bombers under licence, and building thei their own aircraft, the bomber Mann Egerton Type B. In WW II, Mann Egerton built ambulances on the Austin K2 chassis. Car coachbuilding ended befote 1960, but commercial bodies and trailers were built in the 1960s, including refrigerating vehicles. The company employed up to 2200 people, and was broken up in 1986.
