English: Lord Clyde was a iron barque, built in 1875 by Alexander Stephen & Sons Glasgow (Yard No 185) for Gillbert Tulloch Swansea (591 tons and length x beam: 165 × 28 ft (50.2 × 8.5 m)). The Lord Clyde sold 1902 to John Olsen, Sweden and renamed Trifolium. The Trifolium wrecked 1914 on Gwynver Sand, near Sennen. She went ashore in a Westerly gale on passage Cardiff to Bahia, five men were lost including her captain and mate.[1]
