English: The London Road Car Company Ltd, aka 'Union Jack' due to their habit of flying the flag from vehicles/displaying it on running boards, was established in 1890, initially running horse bus services. As of 1905 it was building its own horse and steam car buses at its Seagrave Road works. In 1909 it was bought by the London General Omnibus Company.
