English: Loch Linnhe was an iron full rigged ship built 1876 by J & G Thomson Clydebank (Yard No 151) for Glasgow Shipping Company (J & R Wilson). The dimensions were: length × beam × depth: 234.6 × 37.2 × 22.3 ft (71.5 × 11.3 × 6.7 m) and tonnage: 1468t. 1913 rigged down to a barque. The ship was sold off in 1899 to various Scandinavian shipowners, most recently at Gustaf Erikson in 1922. 1933 drove ashore on a reef off Kokar Island near Mariehamn, Åland Islands and pounded to pieces by heavy seas.[1]
