English: For more than a century, the Livernois studio was a notable photography studio in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, run by three generations of the same family: Jules Isaï Benoît (1830-1865), Jules Ernest Livernois (1851-1933), and Jules Livernois (1877-1952). The Livernois are considered to be pioneers in the field of photography in Canada.
Français : Jules Isaï Benoît, dit Livernois, (1830-1865) est le fondateur du studio éponyme qui fut un important studio de photographie ayant été en activité à Québec (Québec, Canada) pendant plus d'un siècle, du milieu du XIXe siècle jusqu'en 1974. Il fut dirigé par trois générations de photographes de la famille Livernois: Benoît, Jules Ernest Livernois (1851-1933), Jules Livernois (1877-1952). Ils furent parmi les pionniers de la photographie au Canada.
