English: Letatlin is a conceptual human-powered ornithopter created in 1929—1932 by Vladimir Tatlin. There were assembled three almost identical ornithopters, two of them were lost, the ornithopter Letatlin No. 3 was preserved and now (2014) it is exhibited at the the Central Air Force Museum in Monino, Russia. As well, several replicas of Letatlin were built in 1990s. The name of the ornithopter was derived from the Russian word letat’ (to fly) and the family name Tatlin.
