Lawrence Sheriff (or Sheriffe) (c. 1515 or 1516 – September 1567) was an Elizabethan gentleman and grocer to Elizabeth I who endowed Rugby School and almshouses at Rugby. He is remembered today by Lawrence Sheriff School, and Lawrence Sheriff Street in Rugby.
