English: Larry McMurtry (born Larry Jeff McMurtry; June 6, 1936) is an American novelist, essayist, bookseller, and screennwriter whose work was predominantly set in either the Old West or contemporary Texas. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for Lonesome Dove (1986).
