English: A large 12th-century temple dedicated to Visnu at the western side of a small Bhima lake in Janjgir (Champa). It was rediscovered by British archaeologists in the 19th-century with weeds and trees growing in the temple. Now partially restored and an active temple for pilgrims, it features the original intricate reliefs of Vaishnavism, Shaivism and Shaktism traditions of Hinduism. It is also known as the Vishnu Temple of Janjgir or Nakata Mandir (naked-incomplete temple) of Janjgir.
