English: The statue of Lafayette in Hartford is a copy of the one by Paul Wayland Bartlett in Paris. It was formerly located across Capitol Avenue, but was moved in 1979 to the corner of Capitol Avenue and Lafayette Street, on a traffic island across from the State Capitol.[1]
