English: La Masia is the name given to FC Barcelona's training facilities and is often used to generically describe the youth academy of FC Barcelona. Originally a "masia" (catalan rural house) named "Masia de Can Planes", built in 1702 and purchased by FC Barcelona in 1953. In 2011 the training facilities and youth academy were relocated to a new building at the "Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper".
