English: The Ghanaian skier Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong, nicknamed "The Snow Leopard", was born on the 19th of December, 1974 in Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom). He has the citizenship of Ghana. He was the first person from Ghana to take part in the Winter Olympics at all. He started for Ghana at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Canada) as alpine skier in the discipline Slalom skiing.

Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong should not be confused with the first President of Ghana Kwame Nkrumah (21 Sep 1909 – 27 Apr 1972).
