English: The so called Krodo altar was made in the 11th century for the imperial collegiate church St. Simon und Judas, destroyed in the 1820s. The name referring to a Slavic deity called Rod, first mentioned in 1492, was given to it not before 1600 by popular combination. The altar is exhibited in the Goslarer Museum.
