English: King Ayiboba is the stage name of the Ghanaian musician Apozora Ayisoba. He was born 1974 in Karaga, a little village near Soe in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region of Ghana. There he begun his musical career as street musician. In 2007 he was awarded at the Ghana Music Award Festival and had amongst others also any appearances in Europe since then. His music style is characterized as Hip-life pop with a mixture of electronic beat and traditional West African music, at which he mostly plays a traditional music instrument called “Kologo”. His musical texts are in English, the Twi and the Frafra (Gurunsi) language.
