Husayn Quli Khan or Husayn Quli Beg, later entitled Khan Jahan or Khān-i-Jahān by Akbar. Mughal General under Akbar.p.145 color plate A nephew of Bairam Khan, who belonged to the Bahārlū clan of the Qara Qoyunlū Turkmen.
- In 1563, Husayn Quli Khan (Khan Jahan) was Mughal Jagir of Ajmer.
- In 1573, defeats the Timurid Mirzas in Gujarat, at the Battle of Tulamba (1573).
- On July 12, 1576, the Mughal army under General Khan Jahan succeeds in completely defeating the Afghan army and taking Daud Khan Karrani prisoner. The Sultan's head is brought to Akbar by Sayyid ʿAbdullah Khan. – In the middle of the picture we see Da'ud being questioned by Khan Jahan. Image size 24.1 × 13.1 cm. The image is or was surrounded by a frame by the Farhang-i Jahāngīrī.
