The Kate Sheppard Memorial (in full, the Kate Sheppard National Memorial to Women’s Suffrage, sometimes inaccurately known as Tribute to the Suffragettes), a bronze bas-relief by Margriet Windhausen unveiled in 1993, is a memorial adjacent to Our City in Christchurch commemorating the work of the suffragists (suffragette was not a term in use at the time), which ultimately resulted in women gaining the right to vote in New Zealand.
