English: Kamo, real name Simon Ter-Petrossian (1882-1922) was a Georgian Bolshevik of Armenian descent, an early companion to Stalin. Kamo, a master of disguise, is most famous for his role in the robbery that took place on June 12, 1907 in Erivan Square (currently Freedom Square) in Tbilisi, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the Bolshevik cause.
