English: Joseph Canyon (Nez Perce: an-an-a-soc-um, meaning "long, rough canyon") — in northern Wallowa County, Oregon, and southern Asotin County, Washington state.
- The geology of the a 2,000-foot (610 m) deep basalt canyon is of the Columbia Plateau formation, which the canyon cuts through.
- Viewpoints are in the Nez Perce National Historical Park, while the canyon itself is private land conserved by and of the Nez Perce tribe.
