John Walter Christie (* 6 May, 1865 in River Edge, New Jersey; † 11 January, 1944 in Falls Church, Virginia) was an American engineer, inventor of civilian and military apparatus, front wheel drive pioneer, and racecar driver. He participated in the 1905 and 1906 Vanderbilt Cup races, and the 1907 French Grand Prix.
