John Farrah F.L.S., F.R.Met.S, (1849–1907) was a grocer and amateur botanist from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. He was a close friend of the Harrogate historian William Grainge (1818–1995). As a grocer, he ran John Farrah Limited as a grocery and toffee shop in Harrogate in the 19th century (and the business still exists). As a botanist he was president of Yorkshire Naturalists' Union for many years, and he discovered a new fungus, Entoloma farrahi, which was named after him.
