English: The Jeanette Françoise was a four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by J. & K. Smit, Krimpen aan de Lek for P. van de Hoog, Krimpen aan de Lek. 1912 sold to C. Krabbenhöft & Bock, Hamburg with a new measurements, and was renamed Carl. 1914 interned at Antofagasta and 1920 assigned to France as war damage compensation. 1922 sold to A/S Souvenir (O. Kverndal & Co. mgrs), Tvedestrand, Norway and renamed Souvenir. 1924 sold to ship breakers at Terneutzen and broken up in 1925.
Dimensions: length × beam × depth = 263 × 44 × 27 ft (80.1 × 13.4 × 8.2 m) and tonnage: 2292 GRT and 2231 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails. [1]
