Sculptor on stone and wood, apprentice of the sculptor on wood Balthazard Marrot of Cavaillon, having worked mainly in the Comtat Venaissin, currently department of Vaucluse (Oppède, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Cavaillon, Pertuis, Lauris) before to settle in Toulon for almost thirty years as "master sculptor maintained by the French Royal Navy" at the Arsenal, where he created the monumental access door which is now reassembled at the entrance of the Navy museum in the same city .
