English: Isaac Broome (1835-1922), American ceramic artist, sculptor, designer, and art educator, born May 16, 1835, in Valcartier, Lower Canada. Trained in Rome and Philadelphia; active in Trenton, New Jersey and Dayton, Ohio. Died in Trenton on May 4, 1922. Academician of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Awarded medals for ceramic art at the Centennial International Exhibition of 1876 in Philadelphia and at the 3rd Paris World's Fair in 1878.
