English: The Inglewood First World War memorial commemorates the local men who died in the WWI. After WWII, a flagstaff was erected nearby as a WWII memorial, and the names of the fallen soldiers added to the WWI memorial. The tree behind this memorial, Rhododendron Elegans, is believed to be one of the largest of its species in New Zealand.
