[edit]- 1964 Named: ORTOLAN for General Steam Navigation Company Ltd
- 01.10.1971: Management and operation transferred to P&O Short Sea Shipping Ltd. Deadweight now 459 tons, draught 3.244m (10ft 7¾ in).
- 01.12.1972: Ownership transferred to General Steam Navigation (Trading) Ltd.
- 31.03.1975: Management and operation transferred to P&O Ferries.
- 30.04.1976: Ownership transferred to P&O Ferries (General European) Ltd.
- 24.05. 1978: Sold to Boston Offshore Maintenance co Ltd, Boston, and renamed JUDERT
- 1979: Renamed MARAL R
- 26.08.1987: Caught fire in her engine room when one mile Easy of Longstone Lighthouse, Fame Islands, in position 55.39N., 01.35W. At 10.27 hours she was abandoned by her crew and stranded off Seaton Sluice, Northumberland in position 55.05.5N., 01.29W.
- 04.09.1987: Sold to C&J Marine, Newcastle, and broken up “in situ”.
