Hyacinthe Gabrielle Roland (1760-1816), daughter of Pierre Roland, (Christopher Alexander Fagan ?) and Hyacinthe Gabrielle Varis, born circa 1760 in Paris, died 7 November 1816 in Teddesley Hall, Staffordshire, and buried in Penkridge parish church.
English: Richard Wellesley, 1st Marquess Wellesley lived together with Hyacinthe-Gabrielle Roland, an actress at the Palais Royal (and by some accounts a prostitute) for many years. .... She had three sons and two daughters by Wellesley before he married her on 29 November 1794. He moved her to London, where Hyacinthe was generally miserable, as she never learned English and she was scorned by high society. One daughter Anne Wellesley was an ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Another daughter married w:Edward Littleton, 1st Baron Hatherton, and it was at their home that she died.
