This small palace (Lange Voorhout number 34, The Hague) was built in 1734 for wealthy bankers daughter Adriana Margaretha Huguetan, a Huguenot. It was designed by Daniël Marot (1661-1752), also a Huguenot, in the Louis XIV style, because he was the son of the court architect of the French king Louis XIV.
