· English: The so-called Belvedere Hermes is actually a representation of Hermes of the Andros-Farnese type. It was found near Castel Sant'Angelo, hence the identification.
Français : Cette statue a été retrouvée près du Château Saint-Ange où se trouve le mausolée de l'empereur romain Hadrien, et elle a été longtemps connue sous le nom d'Antinoüs du Belvédère car on l'avait d'abord identifiée comme le favori d'Hadrien Antinoüs. Les recherches plus récentes ont montré qu'il s'agit en réalité d'une représentation du dieu grec Hermès correspondant au type Andros-Farnèse.
