English: Herman Cain (December 13, 1945 – July 2020) was an American business executive, syndicated columnist, and Tea Party activist. Cain grew up in Georgia and graduated from Morehouse College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and Purdue University with a master's degree in computer science — while with the U.S. Department of the Navy. He joined the Pillsbury Company in 1977, later becoming vice president. Cain was an executive at Burger King then chairman and CEO of Godfather's Pizza from 1986-1996. He served as chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch from 1989-1991. Cain was deputy chairman, from 1992-1994, and then chairman until 1996, of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
