English: The Hephthalites, also known as the Ephthalites and White Huns (420–670) — a nomadic confederation in Central Asia.
- At the apex of power in the 6th century, the Hephthalite Empire controlled territories in present-day Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India and China.
