The Henry Ahrens House at 212 East University Avenue in Champaign, Illinois was built in 1893 and was designed by Seely Brown in the Queen Anne Style. It was built as a residence for Henry C. Ahrens, a saloon operator and liquor wholesaler. The building was still owned by his descendants as of 2011, when it was added to the NRHP. The carriage barn in the rear of the property is included in the listing. (Source: [1])
