The Health Building at 125 Worth Street between Centre and Lafayette Streets in the Civic Center district of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1932-35 and was designed by Charles B. Meyers in a mixture of the Classical Revival and Art Deco styles. Originally built to house the city's Department of Health, it now contains the office of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Sanitation Department. The front and side entrances have medallions and bronze grillwork by Oscar Bach. (Sources: DCAS page and AIA Guide to NYC (5th ed.))
