Hay carriers are also called hay track, hay trolley, barn trolley, hay fork carrier. A hay hood is a projection of a barn roof to cover the hay track where it extends out of the barn. The lifting device is a harpoon, fork, grapple. The trolley ran on a wooden or later iron track.
